Pros
I feel like I'm working for humans. Sometimes a company will behave in less-than-human ways because it's not human, and I accept that. But I work with and for people, and they are decent. I've seen no abusive, evil behavior. The company as a whole is working on an exciting problem - improving health care. Even though I just work on one application in one part of the process I feel like I'm contributing to that and have interesting problems to solve. I sense openness to improvement. I've been able to encourage technical improvements that never had a chance in other companies. My manager and co-workers are excellent developers. We don't always agree on everything. That's better than always agreeing. They're smart people, and when they have a different opinion there's a good reason for it. We're operating independently after the CVS acquisition. That plus the acquisition itself indicates that the company is on a good track. Compensation is very good.
Cons
I'd have to really think hard and nitpick to find something negative. It's not perfect, but you already know that.
