Pros

On the surface they would seem to be ok, but aren't. Don't be fooled by re-branding as Operative One. Same horrible group of ppl. Clients beware. They habitually lie to clients to cover up errors

Cons

Terrible Mgmt Over-structured, unproductive teams Make sure any offer letter you get has absolutely everything you expect written down. Seems dumb, but they count on it. Expensive insurance No matching 401k contributions No incentive programs (bonuses, significant raises) Mgmt pays zero attn until the project is already as mess and look to point blame New CEO just terminates huge swaths of staff with no regard to any transitional process for clients Staff knowledge expectations seem to embrace knowing 20-25% of the product they support. No one has even a shallow 'big picture' of how the products work. So training new team members is nonexistent. Team leads & mgrs actually have attempted to instruct staff how their off duty hours are spent with clients/colleagues when there are legal skirmishes. Clients can't learn the software because the staff doesn't know it either. Clients figure this out quickly. Many wisely leave. Project teams deliberately create client confusion to defer numerous delivery delays on the client. When delivery finally does occur, it's generally not tested and embarrassingly non-functional.

Pros

Biggest pro are the employees. Everyone from top to bottom are so nice, intelligent, and helpful there. Processes and training (barely any training) leave a lot to be desired, but they are in the process of making things better. Management for the most part is good except for some old guard/new guard tug of wars. Pay was good, medical benefits were good although higher co-pays than I have had previously. Culture has grown since purchase of Operative as they have adapted their culture. Complimentary soft drinks, fruit and cereals. Also cater in bagels every Wednesday.

Cons

No training, no real direction. No 401k match. NY space is very cramped. ***no work/life balance. Employees work late nights and weekends a lot to make unrealistic deadlines and to meet with dev or QA who are in Israel and Romania. Company is transitioning over the methodology they do development, but in the interim it is very confusing and all over the place. Not a lot of understanding of the US market.
