Pros

- Unlimited PTO (subject to change) - Remote work environment - Veteran peers that are truly dedicated to their work - Good work/life balance

Cons

- Currently a chop shop. Don't climb on board with confidence until turnover wave cools down - Disorganized, unsupportive HR department. Prepare for delayed/minimal communication during both the onboarding and off-boarding process. - Little to no compensation review structure, unless it's being used as a crisis management technique. - Sittercity has normalized shelling out thousands in new hire referral bonuses, tech reimbursements, GrubHub credits, multi-day off-sites, swag, and contests, but are unable to offer market-value compensation for many roles. Expect to be low-balled out of the gate with minimal room for a respectful negotiation. - HR will request that you do not discuss your pay with others at the company, or on your immediate team. *THIS IS A RIGHT PROTECTED BY LAW,* and making such requests will only further an inequitable wage gap. - New leadership is wildly unprofessional, but protected by new CEO - Buggy product that lacks the staffing to make improvements - Little to no growth opportunities despite Talent's obsessive push for hiring - Archaic and unethical billing model/subscription terms

Thank you for your contributions to Sittercity and for sharing your thoughts. Feedback, however hard to hear, is taken seriously since it means there’s work we can do to make things better. There is nothing more important to me and the leadership team than creating an environment where each and every employee can thrive and grow. Thank you, Erin
