Management is everything. In my case, my upper managers and key holders all happen to be idiots who don’t even know how to make a schedule correctly without changing it after publishing ever half day, or are busy attending to attractive women when they walk into the store that they drop everything to walk a lady out to their car. They don’t listen to their employees and are always inaccessible. Before applying to a smart and final, ask a cashier or clerk or anyone without a black shirt there how the management is and ask them for their honest opinion. The management will affect you and in my case it has made me miserable working here. In other cases, it might just make the job that much more rewarding and pleasurable.
