      Pros

      Funny experiences with customers friendly coworkers company gives out free turkeys or hams to employees during holidays

      Cons

      Has a mind set of us vs them when it comes to corporate/management company does not promote or treat workers fairly or with dignity tries to do every kind of gimmick like creating a sort of facebook for employees or giving out recognition cards rather than giving people raises/hours/promotions

      Smart N Final needs to learn to walk before they run

      Pros

      The hourly employees. They seem to remain positive with all the new programs & never ending changing store policies that are being implemented.

      Cons

      There are several new programs which are implemented but without additional labor, there is "them vs. us" attitude when it comes to corp & store associates, no more "family" style, you feel as if we are just numbers.

      Horrible management. Human Resources doesn’t do its job.

      Benefits are good. Pay was decent

      Cons

      Human Resources does not do its job. Dealt with retaliation and harassment and I only got a call back when I quit and got my final check. They didn’t investigate like they said they would. They don’t care about their employees. HR should be restaffed or retrained to do their job the way it should be handled. They are losing a lot of good employees.
