Pros
There is a lot of room for growth with the company. Flexible hours and you can work at any Smart and Final to pick up more shifts if you want. If you work HARD and FAST you will be treated like gold. Our customers are wonderful and most of them will treat you very well. Shifts go by very fast because you are working very quickly. It is never a dull moment.
Cons
When it is a slow season there are NO hours I got 8 hrs. a week a few times. Managers show favoritism all the way to the top. You will move up quicker if you have a friend or family member who works for the company if not you are stuck with the crappy jobs and crappy hours. The pay is very low for the work you are expected to do. Management does not communicate with each other very well. One manager will tell you to do something a certain way and another will be angry with you for doing it that way.
