Pros
Nice co-workers, employee discount, nice manager
Cons
They don’t hire courtesy (box boy) clerks so every position is expected to mop floors, clean bathrooms, get carts, clean up spills, etc. In my store they only scheduled 1 cashier per shift but their rule is if you have more than 2 customers in line you immediately need to call for another cashier. This meant the bakery clerk, or meat clerk, or cut-fruit clerk, or managers were called away from their jobs to open another check stand. If a customer needed a carry out the produce clerk would have to stop his job and help the customer outside. The employees were always stressed because labor is short but the amount of work that had to get done was great. Each week the new ads would break but typically the registers would always have 1-2 items not ringing up correctly and it was frustrating for employees and customers. **HR-I’ve needed to call them a minimum of 4 times and left a vm message for our “assigned” representative but NEVER received a return call. Bottom line - they only pay minimum wage and if you’re ok with being frustrated due to not enough help each shift then this job is for you.
