Great team to work with, within HR

Cons

Inconsistent Bonus & Raise structure. No consistency on procedures or guidelines. Bonuses are paid based on favoritism, the higher ups get majority of the compensation, the performance reviews don't guarantee any compensation raises even if you receive great scores. They have people is roles without the proper credentials which makes your job harder because more work will get placed on you with no additional compensation. You're expected to work all hours of the day in order to be available for the employees in other Regions. When you interview, they make you think SMITH is the best company ever but once you're in there.... You'll feel belittled by upper management and unappreciated. VPs barge into your office yelling without any professionalism.

Smith is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation to all employees. Our bonus and pay structure is based on a multitude of factors, most of which are not visible to someone in this former employee’s role. We expect all team members to act with professionalism, respect, and integrity when interacting with their colleagues and representing the company; however, this former employee’s gross mischaracterization of Smith does not reflect these values.

HR is responsive, helpful, and genuinely cares about employee success. The company offers excellent training, growth opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of business operations, and it have the best online university! Management is approachable, communication is strong, and employees are encouraged to contribute ideas and develop their careers. The culture promotes respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As a fast-growing and dynamic organization, priorities can occasionally shift quickly, requiring employees to be adaptable and manage multiple projects. However, this also creates valuable learning opportunities and professional growth.
