Pros

Casual work environment, Great benefits. No cap on commission. Fun parties. Good people to work beside.

Cons

Unfortunately, if you work on the trade floor and not in sales, you are not really seen as an essential employee. You're easily replaceable. Not much you can do to try and get a raise or promotion if you work in any support group for the sales team. Other depts get to WFH under managers discretion on certain days. Most family members to executive managers get to WFH which makes it feel like unless you're family, you don't get the same special treatment. At one point, if you asked to WFH for the day, they would make you submit PTO while logged in and working at home. They put you in front of a computer and make you watch videos as your "training" Solid traders have had life changing deals swept out from under them and given to other traders who upper management sees better suited for the order. Nothing you can do about it either.

Cons

Long hours, if you are not open to have late nights would not recommend Stressful moments in the job
