Pros
Excellent Culture, challenging work, significant opportunity to make a difference unlike what might be experienced at a large corporation. Great people to work with. Because of the green-space in many areas of the business, career growth occurs at a much faster pace than it would at a mature enterprise. Work life Balance is second to none in my career thus far. The executive are humble and they treat every employee with respect and show genuine interest in everyone who works there.
Cons
The work is hard and there is a lot of ambiguity at times. This job is not for those who like things to be neat and orderly before they work there. Snap needs people who enjoy the ambiguity and love creating value where none existed before. When growth is fast, it can be challenging to win resources and support for one's initiatives. This isn't necessarily bad as it is a hallmark of rapid growth, but many workers would rather work in an environment where the availability of resources is not difficult to obtain.
