Pros

I started with Snap Finance in 2019 and have had a front-row seat to its growth from under 1,000 employees to thousands today and Love every minute working here What’s stood out most isn’t just the growth, but how well the company treats its people. There’s a genuine culture of respect and dignity that you don’t find everywhere. I truly love what I do. I have the most supportive regional manager I’ve had in my entire three-decade career, and that makes a huge difference & she has made a huge impact on my personal and professional career 🥰. As a CSM, the flexibility to manage our own schedules and hit our goals in a way that works for us is something I value deeply. It creates accountability without micromanagement—and that’s rare. I can honestly say I’ve never once woken up and thought, “I don’t feel like going to work today.” 💯 This is also the longest I’ve ever stayed with a company, which says everything. Snap Finance is a great place to work—plain and simple and every day will be different!

Cons

Honestly none that are so noteworthy to say

Pros

Good starting pay, training/onboarding program.

Cons

HR doesn't take harassment seriously. There were several official reports about other employees harassing me while at work but no disciplinary action was taken. People were taking photos of me with their phones while we were at work and posting them on social media with negative and demeaning commentary. These were taken without my knowledge or permission. I took screenshots that were forwarded to me by a friend who noticed them on social media site and gave them to HR, I felt so violated and sad that these were being posted to the public. Unfortunately, HR did nothing, even though they had physical proof of the harassment and could identify which individuals posted them to their social media. After reporting the harassment, I felt like management retaliated against me and found any reason to take disciplinary action against me. I worked a mid day schedule and had doctor appointments during the week at times. My boss would approve me to either come in late or leave early, but then I would get written up for doing so. They wouldn't change my schedule so I could make it to appointments due to an unforeseen medical condition. I was actually told by my boss once when I asked for a half hour adjustment to my schedule for an appointment that "you are either on time or you are unemployed, its up to you!" Management and friends of management were similar to high school bullies and there was clear cut favoritism amongst them. Exceptions made for some but not all employees. I got a new job that worked better for my schedule and gave Snap a two week notice in an effort to leave on good terms and to be professional. When I gave my notice, I was asked "Why don't you just leave today instead of wasting our time for two more weeks?" then I was fired a few days later. My performance was always stellar while I was there and I was always top of the leaderboard in terms of stats. I felt like I was cutting ties with an immature teenager who couldn't handle being broken up with when I gave my notice. Work/life balance is not important to Snap. Values are non-existent and a safe workplace is not how I would describe Snap.

Pros

A remnant of the original culture still exists. Some quality, committed people

Cons

Women are at a disadvantage here. While growth and progress are promised, it doesn't feel sincere and rarely pans out. Conversations feel like lip service, with disparaging remarks often made but in an "I'm joking" manner. It is a boy's club and not a place for someone truly wanting to advance or improve themselves.
