Management started to fail with communication. Lots of nepotism. You couldn’t speak to management confidentially without it getting to other co-workers. Went almost 2 years without any official review; I was told “you know you do well, so why do you need to hear it?”. Well maybe I needed to address concerns. The department I worked in had lack of “corporate” acknowledgement. It’s still segregated even though they have tried (but I think still fail) to incorporate all floors and/or treat everyone the same. There are a ton of hard workers, no recognition outside of the bosses (one thing they got right). No movement. No growth to go anywhere because favorites were always chosen even if they lacked experience. Or you couldn’t move up if you had different ideas. Management was closed off to change that would benefit them/the team. Outside your department it was also hard to move up especially if you didn’t have the people within the company to back you or they wouldn’t give you the training/coaching needed to get the experience they were looking for; like learning courses/side by sides. Obviously, there were a lot of cons than positives in my opinion. Left super jaded and super disappointed.
