Pros

I have been pushed and challenged in my time here: I've developed and grown so much! The standards are high. I'm surrounded by so many extremely talented individuals who take pride in what what they do and care about each other, this is why I'm able to bring my whole self to work here. As a leader it enjoy helping people and teams develop and grow - here I am given the freedom and capacity to do so. Yeah there's free lunches twice a week, weekly vending machine allowance, games room, and regular social events, and these perks are great...but we also use our facilities and food budget to support local tech meetups and give back to the local communities, and this is something I'm proud to be a part of.

Cons

It's not all sunshine, there is room for improvement (project governance doesn't always align with the agility and pace of the individual teams), but this is not only recognized, I'm seeing positive action in these areas, so I'm looking forward to playing my part in it...hence why I plan to be here for the next 3 and beyond!

Pros

Amazing office space in Charlotte with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. There are plenty of social events and networking opportunities that help employees stay engaged and build relationships across different business units. The recent IT reorganization has created a unique opportunity to participate in system and process design initiatives. While this level of change and transformation may not appeal to everyone, it offers valuable experience for those who enjoy shaping new processes and driving organizational improvements. I am optimistic about the direction of the organization and confident in the vision and leadership of the new IT management team.

Cons

Career advancement opportunities can sometimes feel limited within a satellite office environment, and promotion paths are not always clearly defined. Employees seeking long-term growth may benefit from having proactive career development conversations with leadership. The recent IT reorganization has introduced a period of transition, resulting in some uncertainty and lower morale across parts of the organization. The department is currently in a rebuilding phase, and new employees should expect to contribute to the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working. Compensation appears to be somewhat below market rates for certain roles, which may be a consideration for candidates prioritizing salary growth.
