Pros

Great products that consumers want. Healthcare benefits are fantastic with a lot of options. The employees are Sony's best asset.

Cons

The vacation policy is TERRIBLE! Employees can "take as much vacation as you want" with manager approval. There is no accrued time off. However, if you aren't hitting your targets, it is highly implied / frowned upon to take vacation. So not only do you give up what would be paid vacation, but you work through it. If Sony doesn't want to accrue years of vacation time, then it should at least pay employees for vacation hours earned at the end of each ear. Sony keeps bad managers in place far too long.

Pay is at market at best Moving away from hybrid work model to onsite model Currently in transition to merge with TCL. Beware of layoffs Processes are bureaucratic- difficult to take swift action Work model is fairly flat, leaving few opportunities for upward career growth
