Pros

- Really bright & airy office made it a nice inviting place to be - A younger management base that was easy to relate to - Really supportive management, in the Accounting Dept anyway. They were always looking to help the staff further their knowledge and career. They took time to teach so we understood things, rather than just enough procedural knowledge to complete a task - Fairly autonomous for an accounting dept. Lunches & breaks weren't strictly timed, appointments could be made during work hours without receiving any sort of negative feedback - The controller had her team's back whole heartedly - The staff was incredibly supportive and tight knit. I have worked at other places where I experienced a ton of back stabbing and throwing people under the bus and straight up sabotage and I experienced none of that at Sound. - Pay was fair, good about salary increases - Opportunity for upward advancement was decent. I had started taking things off of my manager's plate and there was a title change coming my way eventually for it from GL Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant, which would have meant a pay increase as well, had I stayed. Overall, Sound was a great place to work. I no longer work in the corporate world and will never go back. However, if I was still in it, there's no reason I wouldn't still be with Sound. It was my favorite job of all the corporate positions that I have held.

Cons

- I remember a lot of political chatter, but nothing earphones can't solve - The extremely repetitive nature of the GL Staff Accountant role did get pretty mind numbing not too long after I had thoroughly learned it. I started making mistakes because I got bored and a bit careless. :-/ oops

Pros

work from home, smaller business, personable nurse manager

Cons

lack of training, then they blame you for not meeting training standards. For example only able to train odd hours that didnt work for me, then complained it took to long when i only trained 2 hours every other week. Of course it takes 2 months to train when only trained 1-2 hours every other week When I applied I said I had OB expierence but 30 weeks and under, then later complained I didnt know labor calls well enough. Most of calls were OB but it was advice for all areas and I KNOW triage and advice very well and would have been great assest to them Another MAJOR con is the pay. My other job paid 2.5 times more so of course they had priority when I trained, so if ya want to pay more, I would have trained any hours open first, but otherwise you are last on my list. Other call jobs pay the same and dont require you to be a RN, for example southwest airlines call agents etc . Anyway their loss
