Pros
1. Management really truly and fully cares about the employees 2. Management pays attention to hours, to make sure that you're taking enough time for yourself. If they see you working too many hours, they request you take a day off! (Really!) 3. More snacks than you can imagine. And drinks. And Lunch. And some spicy carrot things the owner makes. 4. Game night (hybrid, online games) 5. We have our own Minecraft server to play on 6. Movie nights (hybrid) 7. Bookclub 8. Outings and events (rented a theater so we could socially distance ourselves and enjoy a new release together, rented TB Grand Prix so we can celebrate "best places to work" recognition together, Halloween party complete with pumpkin carving, and so much more) 9. Weekly meetings with 100% transparency into finances, plans, goals, upcoming changes 10. Great benefits (med, dental, 401, pet insurance, education, and more) 11. Did I mention snacks, because dang there are a lot of snacks! 12. Work remotely, in-office, or hybrid as much as you'd like 13. Frequent info gathering on how to make the culture better 14. Great team members; intelligent, creative, thoughtful, funny 15. 6-hour workdays because home-life matters 16. Volunteer opportunities offered for local not for profits, with ample time off offered to everyone to participate in an N-F-P of their choice, every month. Every day, I find something new to love about Sourcetoad. Every day, I laugh, learn something, and feel valued as a person, not just as seat-meat. My opinion was shown to be highly regarded literally from my first day here. Everyone is treated as an equal; while we do have an org chart, treatment is completely flat. I'm treated as great as the CEO is.
Cons
1. All your friends will be completely jealous of your job 2. You will realize how toxic your other jobs were and be a bit miffed that you allowed yourself to be treated as an employee instead of an integral partner of the company's success. 3. I literally can't think of anything that I'd call a con!
