The other salesmen were cool guys, but as far as a company goes there are no Pros to this company
Cons
-**No Dispatching system, you will receive a printed out screenshot of Google maps doodled with pencil** -You'll be deep in the hood -Do not be fooled by your resumé, they hire 18 year Olds with no job experience -extremely tedious hiring process/learning a script -99% of the time you don't even get to use said script because door to door sales are outdated and the serious majority of people do not open their door for you -even if customers do open the door for you, and even if the poorly worded script works and you get the customer to schedule an estimate? That customer can just cancel the estimate and then YOU do not get paid -Lies about income. They try and get you and say you can make 100k here, that is just simply not true. I am making minimum wage because nobody opens the door. -I walked 47 miles in 90+ degree heat to make $300 (I am offended) -Out of ~300 doors I knocked on, less than 10 opened, and 7 of those 10 were extremely rude, the other 2 weren't even homeowners (renters) and that 1 person out of 300 people was kind, but had already signed with a different roofing company (and showed me the papers) Lastly, always remember this when applying to a sales position. THE PERSON INTERVIEWING YOU IS A SALESMAN, DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES, GIMMICKS, AND SCAMS, THEY WILL MISLEAD YOU If you are considering working for Southern National, please do not. 100k salary is if you get 5+ people to sign a day - good luck getting 5+ people to open the door
