Nepotism and preferential treatment is a huge problem with senior IT leadership. If you don’t do exactly what they don’t tell you to do, they will micromanage you and play mind games with you to get you to resign or fire you without just cause after months of this behavior. I gained a lot of industry experience working here but at a huge cost to my mental health. I wouldn’t stay here for more than a year. Get your experience and go somewhere better.
