Pros
- Comprehensive, affordable benefits - Exceptional Employee Assistance Program - PTO is accrued at an above-average rate for full-time employees; with the rate increasing with seniority. -401K match up to a certain % - DVMs are compensated extremely well with base salary alone. Additionally, they receive production bonuses, Lead DVM & High Producer bonus opportunities, CE PTO and a generous allowance, PTO that does not impact their production earnings, etc. - Home office staff are fast and skilled and the company website is a useful tool
Cons
- Bonus structure for any non-DVM position is only offered once annually, and is next to impossible to qualify for (as opposed to most other large corps who offer attainable bonuses every quarter) - Compensation is below average for all support staff - There is a company-wide focus on continuously decreasing the labor margin for support staff teammates, even for hospitals whose margins are well below industry benchmarks
