Pros

Easy enough and flexible if you are new to working.

Cons

Poor pay from the get go, benefits are high, can't keep good employees due to pay, CEO has no clue about what's going on. No incentives, no hazard pay offered at all for for being a direct care worker through whole pandemic, no bonuses ever offered in over 5 years.

Pros

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services has been more than just a workplace for me—it's been a place of growth, purpose, and genuine collaboration. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most passionate, mission-driven professionals in the behavioral health field. The organization's commitment to community wellness and culturally responsive care is unwavering. Leadership consistently supports innovation, professional development, and staff well-being. I’ve been encouraged to bring ideas forward, and I've seen many of them come to life with the right support and structure. The benefits package is strong, the PTO is generous, and the flexibility around work-life balance is deeply appreciated. Most importantly, I’ve witnessed firsthand the positive impact our services have on the individuals and families we serve across Arizona.

Cons

As with any nonprofit healthcare organization, there are challenges with resources and navigating funding constraints.
