Pros

Working in a field with the ability to help others was great. Other than that, I have nothing else to say.

Cons

A LOT of drama. I am glad I left.

Pros

Good start to see if this is the field to work in. Clients are great. Case Mangers actually care about the client, not the profit.

Cons

Non-profit that is profit driven. Will be told to do an intake knowing they won't qualify for the program because it is "billable". Communication between departments is almost non-existant. Coordinators are so busy managing multiple programs with no real support from upstairs. Home office is in Phoenix so if you aren't there it is difficult to get answers. No exit interview and anyone above the front line members don't care if you stay. Don't ever mention coordinating with another behavioral health agency. The goal is to keep it all in house, not what is best for the client. No motivation for success because when it is achieved all you get is an "attaboy". Burn out is high, but hey "we are the largest provider in the state!" The people that you work with bust their butts but there is no reward. Actually now when I talk to other agencies and they know where I worked there is always an awkward silence.

Pros

Remote work if you're Admin

Cons

Too many to count. Anyone of value left the company during the mass migration out in 2018 & those that are there now aren't qualified to work in their capacities. Grossly out of compliance, benefits suck, doesn't care about employees at all, forget it if you are a former employee & need access to your retirement funds, no pto accrual until after 6 months & no bereavement, no jury duty, holidays are day of (ex. no holiday pay on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve). Company brags about it's paid benefits but all the nice perks this company had in the past have been totally eliminated. Doctors and RN's are making less than Admin Directors and most people quit after a month. Nobody wants to stay working here. Low loyalty, high turnover,
