Pros
- Made a lot of friends. - Benefits were nice. - Quick advancement if you were good and networked yourself well. - Good work/life balance. Many paid holidays.
Cons
- If you work in the branches you are definitely overworked. They expect you to do anything and everything to meet their members needs. - The pay is pretty bad compared to other financial institutions. I was working as an assistant branch manager, and I knew personal bankers from corporate banks who made a lot more than I did. - Lot's of drama, and little professionalism when it came to most managers. If you weren't on their good side, they would make it their mission to get you fired. - Management sucks, high turn over because of that reason.
