Where do I begin...management...most of the managers are only in their position because they have been there for years. Not because they are actually good at their job. Their turnover rate is insanely high. No one wants to work here bc of specific managers that are known throughout the region, bc Pay is terrible, compensation-good luck, health bennifits are a joke. When complaints are made to management, HR, DO’s they get pushed under the rug. Especially if a surgeon backs the manager. If you do complain, they transfer you rather than taking care of the problem. So most people don’t want to speak up for fear of either being ignored, labeled a trouble maker or being transfered for being a whistle blower and reporting safety issues, harassment or any of the such. They run shirt staffed at almost all of their hospitals and bank on people giving back their PTO when they get in a jam. And the thanks you get...a text from your manager if that. How about if you’re going to make someone give back approved PTO, in addition to giving them back their hours you pay them for a full days shift! You would have had to pay someone else to fill in for them so why not at least make your employees feel appreciated.
