Great Training… But at a Huge Cost - Surgical Neurophysiologist SpecialtyCare Employee Review

Pros

SpecialtyCare provided solid training and helped me earn my CNIM certification, which I’m genuinely grateful for. If your primary goal is to get trained with quality resources, they do deliver on that front.

Cons

Once you're trained, you're just another number. The company is all about profits, not people. You’ll be overworked, underpaid, and undervalued. Many staff who were trained ended up leaving before their contracts ended—and last I heard, there’s a lawsuit in the works. If you're hoping for fair compensation or a promised raise—don’t hold your breath. I stuck it out to avoid the debt, but honestly, if I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t. There are companies that pay better and treat you like a human being. Management? Terrible. You could be having brain surgery for yourself and they'd still expect you to show up. They keep chasing new contracts while losing staff left and right—so prepare to be stretched thin. Support is poor, communication is worse, and morale is basically non-existent. I wouldn’t recommend SpecialtyCare to anyone—not even my worst enemy. Final note: If you value your peace, your pay, and your sanity—run.
