Pros

Decent pay The work is not strenuous and shifts go by fast if you're at a busy store Good benefits Easy to get full time work and work the same shift every day if you're reliable Most managers try their best to make the job pleasant Managers are flexible with you if you work with them If you are a good worker it'll be easy to make friends

Cons

Not much room for moving up the corporate ladder Corporate is out of touch with the issues stores face Not a lot of hiring incentives or compensation for working during COVID We've been bought by 7-11 and it's unclear if it's for the better Will hire anyone off the street and reliable workers end up having to carry the load when new hires quit within a month No real freebies or perks for employees Most customers are rude and lack empathy

Pros

Opportunity for extra hours and overtime. * Fast-paced environment that can help build multitasking and customer service skills. * Team members often worked together to keep the store running despite challenges.

Cons

* Frequent employee call-offs created staffing shortages. * Regularly required to work double shifts to cover staffing gaps. * Management expectations often felt unrealistic given available staffing levels. * Workload was heavily dependent on previous shifts completing their responsibilities. * Tasks were frequently left unfinished by other shifts, creating additional work and stress. * High levels of stress due to understaffing and inconsistent shift performance. * Work-life balance could be difficult because of unexpected extended shifts.
