Pros

Weekly Pay (which didn't matter because my checks were skimpy from skimpy hours) Easy Access to Cheap Snacks Clock on the Wall

Cons

No Hours or Days (4 hours 2 or 3 days/week) Constantly Busy Rude and Ignorant Customers Extremely High Expectations (register, cleaning, stocking, being Superman or Jesus - whichever you prefer) Basically = You're Expected to be On All the Time!! - closing register when line is crazy long Started working in June and hardly made anything. 3 or 4 hours. By the end of August (when I'm returning to college), I'm working 7 hours and my paychecks increased. But by then it didn't matter because I was leaving. Pissed me off.

* Frequent employee call-offs created staffing shortages. * Regularly required to work double shifts to cover staffing gaps. * Management expectations often felt unrealistic given available staffing levels. * Workload was heavily dependent on previous shifts completing their responsibilities. * Tasks were frequently left unfinished by other shifts, creating additional work and stress. * High levels of stress due to understaffing and inconsistent shift performance. * Work-life balance could be difficult because of unexpected extended shifts.
