Unappreciated - Store Manager Spencer Gifts Employee Review

Weekly payroll budget hours are not nearly enough to complete unrealistic workloads. We are expected to complete floor moves, shipment, planagrams, price changes, carrying heavy boxes up a ladder to the top of our OSP, weekly reports, interviews, hiring, training etc etc while assisting & providing excellent guest service with only 2 part coverage, 3 if we're lucky. If we don't meet our weekly sales plan we are questioned and asked what can we do to increase sales to meet our goals. If we are unable to complete tasks by their unrealistic deadlines we are told it's because of poor time management. If we request extra hours to have an additional associate assist us with completing certain tasks we are told there are no extra hours & no overtime. There is no work-life balance.
