Management does not care about the stores. You get questioned on everything. The malls can have nobody in them and you are questioned as to why people aren't shopping in your store. The new DSM admits she's only there until she pays her mortgage and can retire, and will have you fired for whatever she sees fit. She gets rid of the people who speak up about problems they have and share frustrations, and keeps the people (even promotes them) who let product walk out the door, cause drama, fight customers, and don't listen or care. It was honestly one of the most toxic places to ever work and if you have an entire district who doesn't like their boss, clearly it isn't the stores who are doing something wrong. I dedicated 3.5 years, paying out of pocket for some travel and for contest prizes to boost morale, and got slapped into he face with drama. HR doesn't care. They used to when I first started, but after leaving, I saw how the company has gone down hill for employees who actually cares about their job and really tried.
