Pros
First off, its filled with super passionate individuals. Its something that really hits you right from your first day and has not changed over my time here. Second, its working on something incredibly relevant for our time - improved weather prediction. Especially with climate change, I couldn't think of anything more relevant to work on. Third, the company keeps on attracting not just great individuals that are world experts in their fields, but experienced senior management that has done this. We are really growing up (which by the way is something not everyone always likes)
Cons
They have a regular promotion schedule, which is great, and when you get promoted its a big step-change in comp, but the overall system is not well understood and rolled out. They really have to do a better job in making sure everyone understands the system well.
