Pros

A few of the people I work with are nice, and I enjoy working with our customers

Cons

Spire doesn't know the meaning of "Production Ready." We pass things off as fully-fledged products then have to turn around and tell customers they really aren't 100% ready and backtrack on promises made about reliability and accuracy. As a public company, I'd expect more, and our customers do too. It's almost comical watching leadership try to pass stuff off as production ready. This and many other examples of poor leadership from the top down happen all too often. You'd think they'd at least need to treat their people well to make up for all the missteps, but no, that isn't the case. Expectations for employees don't match what is expected from Leadership (C-Level to mid-management is god awful and I'll use words like "mean" and "bullying" to describe the environment. I'm looking forward to anything that comes my way so I can leave here as quickly as possible). Also, the stock is nearly worthless at this point due to all of the previously mentioned errors in judgment by leadership. You'd be crazy to want to work here.

Pros

PTO benefits were solid. Many of the non-executive hires are highly capable and easy to work with.

Cons

There appears to be a lack of clear direction at the organizational level, with a primary focus on short-term financial outcomes. Office spaces are largely underutilized and not well maintained. There is also a noticeable disconnect between leadership flexibility and expectations placed on newer employees regarding in-office presence. Overall morale seems to be impacted.
