Pros

Spire is/was filled with some of the most competent engineers in the small satellite industry. The work is challenging and fulfilling.

Cons

Benefits are terrible. Pay is terrible. The execs don't care about the employees. The CEO is hell bent on building the company in is own image, flaws and all.

Pros

PTO benefits were solid. Many of the non-executive hires are highly capable and easy to work with.

Cons

There appears to be a lack of clear direction at the organizational level, with a primary focus on short-term financial outcomes. Office spaces are largely underutilized and not well maintained. There is also a noticeable disconnect between leadership flexibility and expectations placed on newer employees regarding in-office presence. Overall morale seems to be impacted.
