Pros
Working for an airline has the best benefits and is why most of stay so long. Free flights for you and your closest family members and I mean Domestic flights are $0.00 along with 6 round trip buddy passes for any friends you'd like to tag along. Health Insurance is literally the best and the job is super easy and comfortable although it can be a lonely job. Best thing is you can bring whoever you want on your work trips and they can stay with you in your layover hotel and everything so you get a mini vacation for free. In some hotels we even get free breakfast, not all though. You also get raises twice a year and hefty ones at least once like way over a dollar.
Cons
Your first year as a flight attendant and maybe even a little longer than that will be as a reserve and with no seniority you will be owned by crew scheduling which sucks. Almost everything is last minute and they will use and abuse you for as long as you're on reserve so know your contract and don't be afraid to speak up because they will take advantage of you. This is a lonely job though and leaving home becomes hard after a while so just take that into account also might be asked to move to another base out of state. At the beginning, pay sucks but gets much better with time.
