Pros

*Reserve is in 10 hr periods, not 24hrs - most are off reserve within 1-2 years. *Friendly, professional coworkers make all the difference *The job isn't usually difficult and is 40% routine-60% customer service . *There's been a noticeable improvement in behaviour since the masks became optional. *Travel benefits aren't the best in the biz but they're enough to get you wherever you want to go *Most of our layover hotels are very nice - union members worked hard to get hotels we're happy with *Lots of bases avail for transfer when openings allow ATL DAL DTW FLL IAH ORD LAS MIA MCO I really enjoy working for Spirit and am proud of the the efforts made in creating a better customer experience like self bag drops at the airport, onboard WiFi, Big Front Seats, and our new cabin seating with wide aisles. Overall, Spirit has been a great place to work

Cons

* Reserve life can be exhausting physically and emotionally *Supervisors aren't always available, and communication is often lacking *First year pay is just not ideal. If at all possible, plan to live at home, or share with one or more roomies. You wont be home that much anyway. *Commuting on Reserve is the worst - don't do it to yourself. *Delays-Extensions-Reroutes-Cancellations are a thing *If you don't really like people, you won't like this job.
