Pros

Sprout is an energetic, passionate and prideful place to work with high expectations and the talent to back it up. The work is challenging, the people are friendly, the politics are minimal and the benefits are great.

Cons

The company has done a good job managing growth but is still coming of age and shifting / adapting. As such, agility and self-direction are valuable assets for an employee and communication can always be improved.

So glad that you feel the same passion I do - thank you for your feedback. To your point, we need to stay focused on adapting as we grow as a company - rest assured that we're always thinking about that.

Pros

Sprout Social has a genuinely friendly, collaborative culture. People are smart, welcoming, and easy to work with across teams, and there's a real sense of camaraderie that makes the day-to-day enjoyable.

Cons

Where things consistently fall short is follow-through. Programs launch with a lot of enthusiasm and visibility, but the operational discipline to sustain, measure, and iterate on them after launch tends to fade. This creates a pattern where good ideas don't get the long-term investment they need to actually stick or show results, which can be frustrating for people who are trying to build durable, scalable systems. There also doesn't seem to be a clear long-term plan that the field can execute against. Priorities can feel like they shift often, which makes it hard to know where to focus or what direction to move in. Getting direct, straightforward answers from leadership on strategy and direction was often difficult.
