      Pros

      Great benefits!! Fantastic TEAM of coworkers!! The whole St Croix vision of hospice care encourages staff to work with all disciplines together to meet the patient’s and family’s needs during the dying process. Our Medical Director is so accessible and great to work with on the needs of our patients! Great pay and workable schedule!! I love my job and coworkers!!

      Cons

      Takes too long to get a company vehicle! I’m on the waiting list!! I hate putting so many miles on my car!! On call is a nightmare for one nurse sometimes in our big area . Staff that were beneficial to our team have been let go or left due to issues that should have been handled differently by management outside our office! Our office is not in a good place ....we need a better location!!

      Pros

      Good leadership/management Good benefits Good work life balance Great coworkers and company environment Ability to make more money by picking up on call It’s easy to take time off Company phone Opportunity to qualify for company vehicle

      Cons

      Weekend on call. We have to be back up every 8-9 weeks Lack of organization No structure for support. Company hires no PRN nurses and is limited to 1 LPN for support. Extra visits are expected to be picked up by case managers who already have a full load. Required to do an occasional admission Very large territory. Occasionally have to drive over an hour for PRN visits or admissions
