      Pros

      St. Croix Hospice is a great growing company to work for. The company has a great mission and values, supportive co-workers and managers, good benefits and good work/life balance. Meaningful work helping families and patients in a time of need.

      Cons

      As with any company communication can always improve. It can be more challenge with many different branches to have consistency across the board but something management is always looking for ways to improve.

      Pros

      Good leadership/management Good benefits Good work life balance Great coworkers and company environment Ability to make more money by picking up on call It’s easy to take time off Company phone Opportunity to qualify for company vehicle

      Cons

      Weekend on call. We have to be back up every 8-9 weeks Lack of organization No structure for support. Company hires no PRN nurses and is limited to 1 LPN for support. Extra visits are expected to be picked up by case managers who already have a full load. Required to do an occasional admission Very large territory. Occasionally have to drive over an hour for PRN visits or admissions
