Pros

Pay is ok compared to other healthcare agencies

Cons

Home office do not care about employees. They look at employees as machines and have true unrealistic expectations. They change policies without giving explanations. They over promise and under deliver. They want a huge census, but don’t hire accordingly and nurses end up with more patients than they can manage and the current patients aren’t getting the care they deserve because of this.

Pros

Good leadership/management Good benefits Good work life balance Great coworkers and company environment Ability to make more money by picking up on call It’s easy to take time off Company phone Opportunity to qualify for company vehicle

Cons

Weekend on call. We have to be back up every 8-9 weeks Lack of organization No structure for support. Company hires no PRN nurses and is limited to 1 LPN for support. Extra visits are expected to be picked up by case managers who already have a full load. Required to do an occasional admission Very large territory. Occasionally have to drive over an hour for PRN visits or admissions
