This is for the WIC program, sponsored by St. Joseph's Healthcare System. Pros are a family atmosphere among coworkers, easy to adjust and learn the tasks, and program is having an impact on public health.
Cons
Nowhere to move up in this job, as management will not be leaving for the foreseeable future and staff position types are limited to 3 main categories. No opportunities for new training or learning; work becomes very monotonous--basically what you learn in your first week becomes what you do for the rest of your days as an employee here.
