Pros

Great benefits including cheap insurance. Good tuition reimbursement. Lots of training. Direct deposit. You can pay for lunch with payroll.

Cons

If a nurse doesn’t like you they’ll be out to get you and they’ll do everything they can to get rid of you. Same with doctors and nurses. Doctors do anything they can to get nurses into a mess too. As a mental health technician it’s not about the patients it’s about the hierarchy of techs nurses and doctors. Nurses write untrue statements in their reports about you when they don’t like you. As for st Luke’s if you have any conservative views stay away because someone hacked my information found out where I worked and sent things I commented on people’s facebook pages to Human Resources. You aren’t allowed to have a private life here and if your political views don’t align with them move over. I gave my two weeks notice and they didn’t honor it and wanted me to resign immediately. Awful place to work for.
