If in IT, join at your own peril. All you will do is vendor management and politics. All decisions starts and stops with CIO - It's a one man show. All the management resources are non technical, operational and order takers lacking imagination. There's no concept of structure, delegation and empowerment to make own decisions, even in Sr. leadership. There's always a competition among Sr. leadership to be in limelight. Picture how it is when a small piece of bone is thrown to a pack of dogs. Folks on the ground doing actual work do not get recognized.
