Pros

Location...that's about it...and parking is convenient. Right off the freeway, so easy to get on the ramp when you leave for the day.

Cons

Unacceptable backwards technology which employees must rely on. Filled with many bugs and are told "this is what we got, so use it." Horrible salaries...too much work with no pay to match it. Benefit options are way to expensive. Too much favoritism. If you are not liked on day one, you are not going anywhere. Promotions given to employees who become friends with managers. No proper training for new employees. My training sessions were cancelled and I was left to learn on my own with little support. No support from managers. If you don't understand the first time, you are left out to pasture. Super high turnover rate... I strongly advise not to work in this company...it is highly stressful with poor pay and poor management.

Pros

I’ve had such a positive experience with Starboard. From the very beginning, the team has been welcoming, professional, and incredibly supportive. The environment feels collaborative, fast-paced, and genuinely motivating, and it’s clear that there’s a strong culture of growth and teamwork behind everything they do. What stood out to me most is how much care goes into both the employee and client experience. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help, which makes such a difference when starting a new opportunity. I’m really excited to continue learning and growing with a company that values people, communication, and excellence the way Starboard does. Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to what’s ahead!

Cons

The pace can definitely be fast at times, especially while learning new systems and processes, but it also creates a great opportunity for growth and development. There’s a lot to learn in the beginning, which can feel overwhelming at first, but the team is supportive and willing to help you succeed. Like any growing company, balancing multiple priorities is part of the experience, but it keeps the work dynamic and engaging.
