Pros
Benefits were overall good and most people who have been there awhile are helpful while others are too busy to help
Cons
They don’t want to automate or improve any of their process and are stuck in their ways. The focus is always on acquiring new ship contracts, never investing capital in how ancient their processes are. Their software systems are completely outdated, excel isn’t strong enough to run some of these reports, hard work gets deleted because master files are augmentable. None of the systems they have in place are intuitive and no one challenges this unless they’re new to the company. You will be doing plenty of things outside of your job description and at a low pay. You’ll be doing what seems like endless menial tasks. They don’t want to hire the proper roles needed to function. And if you don’t set boundaries expect to be working the whole day through, non stop. Expect to be contacted while you’re on PTO if no one bothers to learn the processes that only you know. Leadership doesn’t even know how to use systems to look at business financials. No onboarding or training whatsoever. No orientation. Overall a very disorganized company with toxic leadership and nepotism
