Pros

I guess it covers the bills. The work-life balance is decent. Benefits for insurance is actually pretty good.

Cons

There’s no clear path for growth within the company. They lack effective policies and procedures that work across all the businesses they’ve acquired. While they have "goals" and "5-year plans," the direction feels unclear and uncertain. When someone quits, their workload is simply dumped on others without any discussion. Serious issues like sexual harassment aren’t properly addressed. The overall work environment is filled with negativity, and there’s little opportunity for advancement since they struggle to hire replacements, leaving employees stuck in the same roles indefinitely. They only do raises once a year, and even with that you have to wait MONTHS to even see the raise come through (no back-pay). Upper management shows little concern for lower management. HR is primarily focused on protecting the company, not offering support to employees. Overall: Don't waste your time and find a Company that actually cares about you and your well-being!

Stark Tech Response

While we don’t typically respond to these types of posts, these negative claims are very misleading and require attention. First and foremost, we take matters like sexual harassment very seriously and if a complaint is brought to our human resources department, it is investigated and addressed expeditiously. We also train all employees, including managers, on harassment prevention which explicitly outlines the Company’s commitment to a work environment in which all employees are treated with respect and dignity, with the right to work in a professional atmosphere that prohibits harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment. If this person has a complaint, we hope they bring it forward so it can be addressed promptly and in detail. In addition, our policies and procedures are clearly defined and available to our employees and their managers, including our performance-based merit process. The schedule and process are communicated regularly at company meetings. We have a robust communications plan, including quarterly pulse surveys to understand the efficacy of these efforts and adjust when needed. Stark Tech is a high-growth company, and with that growth, have created a significant amount of advancement opportunities for our employees. We continue to invest in our robust training programs to support our efforts to standardize and support the growth plans of our organization and the career goals of our employees. We have a dedicated focus on internal mobility and succession planning; more than 70 of our employees were promoted to new roles last year. Lastly, because of our high growth goals, integration is looked at as a core competency for our company’s continued success. Aggressive high growth companies are not always a fit for everyone and require a special skill set that allows us to adapt quickly to change. Our core values are incredibly important to us as an organization, and we are continuously working to ensure a culture of innovation, trust, and collaboration.
