Pros

Supervisor's are over all nice.

Cons

Disaster area. The ethics here are non existent. Terrible pay, expensive insurance, Ipers is only decent if you stay here your whole life, and no remote work. Terrible governor who is your boss and hates her employees. Over worked with impossible metrics. No infrastructure.

Pros

Sick and vacation time is great. IPERS is great, if you stay long enough to become vested

Cons

Very small raises. Rarely promote within the state. If you do promote from within, your pay is not nearly as high as someone who would get hired off the street for the same job, as you cannot negotiate.
