The entire management structure of the software division of the company is in shambles and impossible to work for. There is no trust with them nor do they understand what the teams are actually doing.
Arbitrary and impossible deadlines imposed by them makes for a some very tense meetings. Even more interesting is that in almost all cases, the customers requesting these changes aren't even able to consume these changes for months after the deadline.
If Stericycle is looking into acquiring your software company, and you care about your product and your people, I'd advise to steer clear of them. They will do what they do best and destroy your product, force your team out and tarnish your good name.
On the tread of tarnished names, let's not forget that time when Stericycle restructured existing contracts for customers resulting in customers being over charged. It's a good thing the customers fought back and forced Stericycle into a settlement.
