Pros

Working from home creates a good work life balance. Strong brand.

Cons

Shred it UK head office in a disgraceful condition, literally looks like a company that doesn't care. Awful culture with micro management at the heart. Complete lack of investment in the right areas and zero innovation plans which has left the UK arm in third place to the competition. Sadly no longer a market leader, not even close. Thousands of customers have left with no plan in place to stop the loss and grow further. Lengthy inflexible contracts leaving customers further disgruntled as covid hits their businesses, zero flexibility unless they pay more. Outdated culture, it's a sad place to work. CEO is doing a good job however so far away from the UK Shred-it market place the good isn't reaching the UK Shred-it business which leaves people disconnected. No plan in place for the company to move to be carbon neutral which is expected from large organisations within the UK. Huge Sales 2022 kick-off in Dallas for Senior Leadership, zero message when returned to the UK, not even a call to share the message.

Pros

The diversity of employees...thats it.

Cons

Burn & Churn. Managers are lazy and so far removed from the employees and sales areas that they have no clue what the market will bear. Shredding services is in its twilight years; by 2033 it will more than likely become non existent due to the cloud and digital storage. The health insurance is with one of the worst bad reputation companies out there. If the company cared about its employees they would have made a better choice. I do not recommend to work there unless you want to get sales training which is provided when you start there.
