Pros
I work on the IT side, mostly doing work for the parent company, Textura, but I have been able to learn many new skills during my time with Submittal Exchange. The managers definitely listen to what you have in mind regarding your career path, and they actively help put you into positions for you to gain the necessary skills to advance. Work-to-life balance is great for the most part, flexible schedules to work around appointments or vacations, and the atmosphere is friendly. Free catered lunches every Friday is a fantastic perk. There are ponds nearby to walk around if you need to get a break. The managers do not micromanage at all. I am able to go home at night and not have to think about work. All of these factors allow me to work at a pace I'm comfortable with and with little stress.
Cons
Sometimes working at night or on weekends is necessary due to code deployments to production.
