Pros
Summit is full of dedicated teachers who care immensely for their students. They are trying hard to be progressive and efficient in their educational model so that they can help as many kids as possible to get into high school.
Cons
So many cons. The educational program only superficially helps many students-- it unfortunately does not make an impact on many students' lives the way that Summit claims, as students are falsely passed through the program without doing any work because Summit wants to claim that all its students are succeeding. Administration was a nightmare, colleagues were often hostile and not assuming each other's best intentions, management is stretching their resources too thin, pay is low, teachers teach all day without prep, and then have to stay until 5pm or later for meetings.
