Pros
Sunquest Information Systems is a company that provides the baseline experience and industry knowledge to be an excellent resume booster for another position. The chance to work in both healthcare and IT will open many career doors.
Cons
The management and internal corporate team is incompetent at a level that can only be described as comical. New employees frequently are hired and fired before completion of the onboarding training. This is not to say that the training is in any way difficult but more on the level that management will frequently correct perceived hiring mistakes by nipping them in the bud instead of giving someone a chance. The reverse is also true where an incredibly incompetent employee will be kept around forever. A running joke at Sunquest is mediocrity is the only sure way to get promoted. Some times HR will put job reqs out for the position you are working which was how a couple of my peers found out they were getting fired. The fear based management style is also quite off putting because the base salary is so low.
