Pros
-Coworkers are great, always willing to help -Flexible work schedule (but be careful) -Well known brand in the laboratory space -Great at small projects such as interfaces, maybe the best in the business
Cons
-Company has lagged behind market needs and technological innovation for at least 15+years -Bought and sold many times over, rebranding struggles, constant turnover from every part of the organization at an exceptionally high rate -Headcount is significantly down from the glory days, ('99 and prior) so resources are tight IF you do sell something to a customer that is still running Sunquest/Clinisys applications. -Trying to move to the cloud, but have struggled mightily. -Revenues decreasing year-over-year consistently for the last 10+ years as health systems moved to Enterprise vendors such as Epic and were charged exorbitant increased annual fees which meant high levels of attrition -The company does not operate with corporate moral integrity and will tell you one thing and then do another. -Benefits are not great although the company is owned by a multi-billion dollar portfolio company. -If you do travel do not expect anything spectacular in terms of lodging or entertainment. -As many have said, this can be a place to get a start. It is not somewhere for a talented individual to expert salary increases, advancement opportunities, etc. -They will hold onto your money as long as they can, be wary if your compensation has bonus or commissions tied to it,
